Dr. Richard Steven White, the therapist and owner of PassWay Counseling LLC, is licensed with the State of Colorado as a Marriage and Family Therapist and has over 40 plus years of experience in conducting family, marital and individual therapy. For 12 years he was the therapist at Colorado Christian Services where he assisted in starting their counseling program.

Dr. White received his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M at Commerce. He is a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition, Dr. R. Steven White did clinical supervision with Dr. E. Lee Doyle, the first female therapist with Masters and Johnson, and was certified with the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists as both Sex Educator and Sex Therapist. His doctoral dissertation was in marital satisfaction and he has taught at both the college and university levels. While grounded in a solid understanding of biblical concepts, Dr. White has a lifetime of experience in therapeutic interventions for individual, marriage, and family therapy.
